Getting Started: Your First Week

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Welcome to Paraform. This article walks through what your first week on the platform looks like and what "success" means as a new recruiter.

You've been approved — what's next?

If your application was approved, your profile matched on most of the following:

  • Recruiting experience with early-stage companies

  • Contingency recruiting background

  • A high talent bar

  • Capacity to work meaningful volume on Paraform

Your first week

  1. Log in to the platform. Access Paraform at paraform.com/recruit. Browse open roles and explore the recruiter toolkit.

  2. Complete your onboarding call. A 15-minute call with our team to walk through the platform, demo key features, and align on expectations.

  3. Get assigned to 2–3 initial roles. As a new recruiter without a track record on Paraform, we'll match you to your first roles directly. Once you reach Preferred Recruiter status, hiring managers will start accepting your applications to recruit on their roles.

  4. Submit your first candidate. Use the Chrome extension, sourcing tools, and Calibration to submit to a live role. See Submitting Your First Candidate for a walkthrough.

  5. Review candidate feedback. Hiring managers rate each submission on a 1–4 scale: - 1 — Strong no - 2 — No - 3 — Yes - 4 — Strong yes

You'll also receive a scorecard and written feedback.

  6. Land your first interview. If the candidate rates a 3 or 4, they're likely to move to an interview.

From there, you're on track toward your first hire and Preferred Recruiter status.
