Platform Activity Expectations

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Your weekly activity on Paraform determines how many roles you can actively work at any given time. This system helps us focus role access on recruiters who are consistently engaged and reduces competition on each role for the recruiters actively working it.

Recruiter activity on Paraform is measured two ways:

Role slot utilization

For each role slot you hold, you're expected to maintain at least one live candidate or one recent submission on that role. Specifically, a slot is counted as utilized if any of the following is true:

  • You've submitted at least one candidate to the role in the last 7 days, or

  • You have at least one active candidate in the pipeline on that role, or

  • You were assigned to the slot less than 3 days ago (grace period for new assignments).

If a slot doesn't meet any of these criteria, it's flagged as underutilized and may be reclaimed so another recruiter can work the role.

If you know you won't be working a role you've been approved for, withdraw from the slot proactively. Holding slots you don't work blocks other recruiters and signals low engagement.

Weekly submission volume

Recruiters on Paraform are expected to submit a minimum of 8 candidates per week across all active roles. This requirement exists because Paraform maintains a substantial waitlist of recruiters — consistent submission activity is what separates an active recruiter from a dormant one, and we'd rather make room for a waitlisted recruiter than let slots sit idle.

Submission quality also matters — see Paraform Recruiting Charter & Guidelines for the quality bar that applies alongside these volume expectations.

What happens if you fall below

Recruiters who don't meet the slot utilization or weekly submission requirements may have their accounts reviewed. This typically means:

  • Role slots reclaimed, freeing them up for recruiters waiting to join the platform

  • In cases of sustained inactivity, account suspension or deactivation (see the Charter & Guidelines for the enforcement phases)

The goal of this system is to reward active recruiters with meaningful role access and lower per-role competition. If you're going through a slow period or have questions about your specific situation, reach out to team@paraform.com.
