Paraform Recruiting Charter & Guidelines
Last updated: April 25, 2026
These are the hard requirements for maintaining an active account on Paraform. They cover submission quality, platform engagement, and professional conduct.
Your access depends on meeting these requirements. Violations result in account suspension or deactivation. These guidelines are non-negotiable.
Your first 10 submissions matter
Quality assessment starts from your very first submission. Every candidate you submit counts, and the first batch of submissions is where the bar is most visible.
Here's why: Paraform evaluates submission quality on a rolling basis. When you have a small number of submissions, the ratio is noisyโthree weak candidates out of your first four will tank your interview rate below our minimum threshold, and that signal surfaces quickly.
We'd rather see you submit fewer candidates and maintain the quality bar than fire off a high volume of weak submissions that puts your account at risk. Review the role carefully, make sure your candidate is actually a fit, and don't send a submission you wouldn't defend to the hiring manager in person.
If you're a new recruiter, lean into the resources we provide:
๐ Submitting Your First Candidate for what a strong submission looks like
๐ Maintaining Proper Quality on Paraform for common mistakes to avoid
Submission quality
Our minimum standards for submission and candidate quality have a few important baselines that you should keep in mind in order to ensure continued access to Paraform roles.
Interview rate above 30%. Below this, your account is flagged and may be actioned.
Average candidate rating of 2.5 or higher (on the 1โ4 scale hiring managers use).
Fewer than 10% of candidates rated 1 out of 4.
See ๐ Recruiter Rating for how your interview rate and candidate ratings are surfaced in the product, and ๐ Maintaining Proper Quality on Paraform for what "good quality" looks like in practice.
Platform engagement
We also expect that you remain active and engaged with your roles and candidates. Not adhering to these standards may impact your role access and the number of roles you can actively work at a given time.
No submission gaps of 30 days or more. Stay active on the roles you've been approved for.
Withdraw from roles where you can't source qualified candidates. Holding a slot you won't use blocks other recruiters from working the role.
Prepare candidates thoroughly for interviews. Share best practices you've learned from earlier submissions.
Apply hiring manager feedback to improve future submissions.
Professional standards
It's important to adhere to all ๐ Paraform Ground Rules. The most important of these that we expect you to maintain at all times are:
Candidate consent. Every candidate you submit must have given explicit permission for that specific role. Submitting candidates without their knowledge or approval is grounds for immediate termination. See ๐ Outreach Guidelines.
Accurate client representation. Don't imply exclusive arrangements, preferred status, or official representation you don't actually have. You're a recruiter on Paraform partnering with the companyโnot an employee or authorized agent.
Compensation confidentiality. Never disclose equity amounts, equity percentages, vesting terms, stock option details, or other proprietary compensation structures to candidates. Share only the salary ranges and standard benefits the hiring manager has explicitly provided.
Enforcement
Accounts that fail to meet these requirements are flagged and actioned in phases:
Warning. For borderline cases or first-time issues, you'll receive a notification outlining what needs to change.
Temporary suspension. Moderate violations of professional standards or other ๐ Paraform Ground Rules may result in suspension from the platform for a set number of days.
Role approvals revoked, single-submissions only. If your overall interview rate is below the 30% bar but still above 25%, your active role approvals are paused and your account will enter a two-month review period.
Account deactivation. If your interview rate falls to or below 25%, or there's no evidence of turnaround during a review period (e.g., new hires or a single submission interview rate of at least 50%), your account will be deactivated. Egregious violations of other platform requirements may also result in account deactivation.
These requirements are non-negotiable. If you have questions or want to discuss a specific situation, reach out to team@paraform.com.
