Maintaining Proper Quality on Paraform

Last updated: April 17, 2026

At Paraform, quality isn't a nice-to-have — it's the foundation of everything we do. When recruiters submit candidates who are unqualified, uninterested, or unprepared, it reflects on everyone involved: the recruiter, the candidate, and the client.

This article covers what we mean by quality, specific misses to avoid, and how to get help when you need it.

What happens when quality slips

When we see repeated quality misses from a recruiter, we take action:

  • Pause: your account may be paused while we review the issue.

  • Suspend or remove: in more serious or recurring cases, we may suspend or remove you from the platform entirely.

This isn't about punishment — it's about trust. Our clients rely on Paraform to surface strong talent, and the candidate experience depends on thoughtful, credible outreach. One recruiter's quality misses ripple across the whole marketplace.

Example quality misses

Skipping vetting

  • Submitting candidates who haven't expressed real interest in the role

  • Submitting candidates without reviewing the job description or understanding company needs

  • Failing to do a phone or video screen before submission — blind or rushed submissions don't cut it

Off-target matches

  • Repeatedly submitting candidates who are off-mark on experience or compensation

  • Misrepresenting a candidate's background, motivations, or fit

Integrity violations

  • Reaching out to candidates on a client's "do not contact" list

  • Using confidential client information to identify or attract candidates

For the broader rules around client confidentiality, non-solicitation, and candidate management, see Paraform Ground Rules.

Reaching out for help

We'd rather help you get it right than watch you miss. If you're ever unsure about a role, a candidate, or how to tighten your sourcing process, reach out to the Paraform team — we're here to support you.

Some common situations where we can help:

  • Calibrating on a role — use the in-product calibration feature to share sample candidates with the hiring manager and get feedback before you submit at scale. See Using the Calibration Feature.

  • Reviewing a candidate before submission — especially if you're on the fence about fit, ask the Paraform team or the hiring manager for a quick check. See Submitting Your First Candidate.

  • Sourcing or outreach feedback — if your responses are low or candidates keep dropping out, the team can help diagnose what's happening.
