ParaAI Matches

Last updated: April 17, 2026

The biggest challenge on Paraform is that great candidates slip through the cracks. You might find a strong candidate, submit them to a role, and if that hiring manager rejects them, the candidate is lost — even if they'd be perfect elsewhere. Meanwhile, you're already busy finding and engaging new talent.

ParaAI Matches changes this. It's an AI matching layer on the hiring-manager side of the platform that creates a passive channel for your past candidates to be discovered and moved to interviews by other companies on Paraform — without you having to resubmit or repitch.

Turning rejections into new opportunities

When you submit a candidate, you give us a rich set of signals: their background, preferences, strengths, compensation expectations, location needs, and more. If the hiring manager you submitted to decides not to move forward, that candidate doesn't just disappear.

Each day, for every open role on Paraform, ParaAI analyzes:

  • The job description and role requirements

  • The intake call transcript

  • Who that hiring manager has interviewed and rejected, and the reasons why

  • Every candidate in our network

From there, it identifies the strongest candidates for each role and shows them directly to the hiring manager for review and interest. Your candidate can be surfaced to new companies without you having to resubmit.

Your candidate relationships are always protected

Every candidate surfaced through ParaAI has an existing relationship with a Paraform recruiter. When a hiring manager expresses interest, we route the request to the right recruiter — you'll be notified by email and on your homepage to confirm interest and action the submission.

When multiple recruiters have worked with the same candidate, our system ranks them to determine who gets priority. The main factors are:

  • How long you've worked with the candidate.

  • Your interview rate on submissions for that candidate.

  • Whether you've kept their preferences up to date — compensation, location, industry, role type. Stale preferences mean ParaAI can't match the candidate as accurately.

  • Your track record of actioning submission requests — letting matches expire without responding counts against you.

We have strict safeguards to keep candidate progression tied to the original recruiter and to prevent companies from taking processes off-platform.

Actioning your matches

When you receive a ParaAI match, you have 7 days to respond before it expires. You'll get reminder emails along the way so the match doesn't fall off your radar.

Expired matches have real consequences. If you have 3 or more expired matches outstanding, ParaAI matching is disabled for your account until you bring that number back down. That means you'll stop receiving new matches and stop earning through this channel. When your outstanding-expired count drops below 3, matching is automatically re-enabled.

How you get paid

If you action a ParaAI match and submit the candidate:

  • Ownership: submitting through the match gives you ownership of the candidate for that role, just like a direct submission would.

  • Reward: you earn the fee listed on the role the hiring manager is requesting you to submit to. See Getting Paid on Paraform for how base and interview rewards work.

ParaAI submissions also count toward your weekly challenge progress, with some specific rules around how they're deduplicated — see Paraform Challenges for details.

Your candidate data makes matching better

For your candidates to be considered in this matching system, the preference data on their profile needs to be accurate — compensation, location, industry interests, role types, and so on. The more accurate these preferences are, the more likely ParaAI will recommend them to the right hiring teams.

If you haven't already updated preferences for candidates you've recently submitted, this is a great time to start.

A passive engine for more placements

Matches gives you a second placement engine. You continue sourcing, building relationships with candidates, and submitting to the roles you're closely working on — while ParaAI quietly works in the background to:

  • Find other roles your candidates are a strong fit for

  • Get them in front of hiring managers

  • Notify you when a hiring manager wants to interview them
