Google Calendar Integration

Connecting your Google Calendar to Paraform unlocks three things: Paraform Scheduler for candidate booking, automatic Google Meet links on interviews, and Parascribe — Paraform's AI notetaker — joining your candidate calls.

What connecting Google Calendar unlocks

• Paraform Scheduler. A personal booking link you can share with candidates. Your real-time availability syncs from your calendar, so candidates can only book slots when you're free. See Paraform Scheduler.

• Automatic Google Meet links. When a candidate books through your scheduler or you create an interview event, a Google Meet link is generated automatically and included on the calendar invite. No manual setup per call.

• Parascribe AI notetaker. Calendar access tells Parascribe which meetings to join. Connecting your calendar is a prerequisite for Parascribe — see Paraform Calls for details.

Connecting your calendar

1. Go to Settings and find the Google Calendar integration.

2. Click Connect and follow Google's OAuth flow.

3. Grant all the permissions prompted — the integration needs read access to your availability and write access to create events.

Once connected, everything above activates automatically. Your calendar stays in sync in the background.

Troubleshooting

If the integration shows an error or scheduled meetings aren't syncing:

• Reconnect your calendar. Disconnect and reconnect from settings, making sure all prompted permissions are granted.

• Check Google Meet availability. Google Meet creation requires a calendar that supports hangoutsMeet conferences. If you're on a Workspace account with conference tools disabled, your admin may need to enable them.

• Check your organization's policies. Some managed Google Workspaces restrict third-party calendar access.
